The 76ers took two from Whiteside County yesterday at Rock Island HS. Connor Sharp out dueled the WSC pitcher, going the distance in a 3-1 76ers win. Sharp allowed 7 hits, while walking no one. Eric Maffie had a RBI single in the fifth to give the Sixers the lead and Brooks Sunny followed with a SAC fly to provide cushion. Ian Delleman earned his first win as a 76er and Eric Hoffman homered in the 9-1 win. The 76ers are back in action Wednesday for a 7:00 game vs. the Geneseo Rookies at Stone Field at Richmond Hill Park in Genseo. First pitch 7:00

76ers rained out today vs. the Bloomington Bobcats. Back in action Sunday for a BHVC DH vs. Whiteside County at Douglas Park. First pitch 1:00.

The 76ers swept a DH from long time rival Muscatine Flames yesterday. Connor Sharp won the 4-3 opener with a nifty four hitter. Eric Maffie homered and doubled and PT Boeye knocked in two. Game two saw the 76ers put up crooked numbers in the third and fourth on the way to a 8-1 win. Ian Delleman and Chris Refka split the game on the mound, with Refka getting the W. The 76ers are now (6-0) and also (6-0) in the BHVC and next play these same Muscatine Flames Wednesday for a non-con tilt back at Douglas Park. First pitch 7:00.
